Painting Sold, Goes to Australia

Winter on the Big Thompson River in Loveland, Colorado. 


I am so thrilled that this painting sold today to a woman from Australia. She will have it shipped!  It's really a thrill when you get to talk to the buyer and you feel that your creation is going to a good home, somewhere where it will really be appreciated.  I was a little sad to see it go, it is definitely one of my absolute favorites.

Madden Museum Show

Winter on the Big Thompson, Oil on Linen, 18 x 24

I am very excited to have two paintings in the "This is Colorado Show" at the Madden Museum. The opening will be January 13th from 5 to 8 and the show will be up for the next month. This is a beautiful venue in south Denver next to the IKEA store. This is an oil on linen, one of my favorites.

We had such a great Christmas with all the family at home...Todd did a quick snap shot of us, unfortunately I lost Lilli's face in it all!

My three grandchildren reading a Christmas book...Colin is not so happy as Faith and Lilli are!  I guess he wasn't thinking it was so much fun!  It was wonderful to have them all together.

Now am I just a little prejudiced or is Lilli cuter than Shirley Temple? Todd's cousin's wife, Michelle, is a fabulous photographer and this is one of her best, I think!
My sister Nancy Dean gave her this princess coat and hat. Just lovely!
